Men <strong>should be<\/strong> tough, brave, hard-working, and the provider. Women <strong>should be<\/strong> caring, loving, sensitive, and the homemaker. But is this who you are? As women we are classified as many things by society: wife, mother, homemaker, etc. Women have so many roles but are these roles who they truly are as a person? We all live with a certain image in our heads of what we should be, specifically when it comes to being \u201csuccessful.\u201d There are many factors that I view as being of heavy influence when it comes to discovering who you are.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This road starts now, no matter where you may be in your life&#8230;single, married, or it\u2019s complicated.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Starting the journey to finding your true self can be somewhat difficult but can start whenever, even if you may be single. You should be able to start your journey without a man. So when your Prince finally comes along, you can easily contribute happiness to the relationship instead of misery. Sometimes life gives you something only when you\u2019ve done the necessary work on yourself. Many of us don&#8217;t want to do anything, yet we want to have it all. Life doesn&#8217;t happen that way. My advice is to learn how to be able to stand up and balance everything in your life on your own. You are extremely strong, smart, independent, focused. This should be shown throughout all stages of your life. Only then will you be able to move on to the next stop.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Marriage can allow you to show your true colors when it comes to personality.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I do believe that being in a relationship and having a supportive man is a very important factor in a female&#8217;s life. Being with a man teaches us lessons, and helps us realize who we truly are. I want to say that for some, marriage happens later in life and that is okay. Time has shifted. Something that was not common years ago, is completely normal now. It is absolutely normal in our era to be single even into your early to mid-30\u2019s. When you do find that person you wish to share your life with, it will be worth the wait. Someone who can be yourself around and who chooses to continue to walk through life with you is someone who with help you discover more about yourself, than you ever thought possibly. Then you will be able to move onto your next stop in the journey&#8230;creating a life and becoming a mother.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Becoming a mother also contributes to finding your true self.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your body was made to be able to create a child and if this is the route that you choose then it becomes a part of who you are. The journey to motherhood is something all in itself. Your hopes, as well as your fears, for your future come to light and this ultimately become a vital piece in your life. This is discovery that seems to be never-ending as well. Even after your child comes, you don&#8217;t stop growing. As they grow older and wiser, so do you in order to keep up with their always changing perspectives. For those of you who want to focus your lives on being a mother, having children will be a life-changing experience. If you don\u2019t choose this route, then that\u2019s fine as well, but just remember that ALL women have this motherly instinct, but the differences lie in how we convey and incorporate it into our lives so that it best fits us. Just because you don&#8217;t have a child doesn&#8217;t mean that part of yourself simply disappears.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We need to learn to change perspectives and really understand our own needs in order to act on them. Don\u2019t let anyone make you feel miserable or not suited for the world. All these factors influence your journey, how quickly or how slowly you will reach the end of the road.
